1. Bespoke Orders and Deposits
We're thrilled to begin your journey. A non-refundable deposit of 50% is required before any design work or fabric cutting commences. This ensures we can secure the finest silks and dedicated time for your construction.
Don't worry—this deposit is applied directly to your final balance, which is due 14 days prior to your final collection date.
2. Alterations and Timelines
Bespoke couture is a labor of love. Most gowns require 3 to 5 fittings over a period of 4 to 6 months. Late arrivals for appointments or missed fittings may unfortunately lead to delays in your garment's completion.
Last-minute adjustments within 30 days of your event? These are subject to availability and will incur an expedited service fee. We believe in perfection, and perfection takes time.
3. Liability and Care
Once a garment leaves the Ignis Gown atelier, the physical care becomes the client's responsibility. We'll provide you with detailed instructions for handling delicate beadwork and luxury textiles.
